All about me - Andrew Oleksiuk

This is a brief note about me. I am in my 14th year of teaching digital media at the college level. Before and continuous with that, I've worked as a computer technician and artist. Having recently graduated with an MFA in Electronic Visualization (New Media Arts) from University of Illinois at Chicago, I have managed to steer my career more toward art. Network art was the focus of my thesis work. I have four cats and live with my wife on the northwest side of Chicago. I am an avid stamp collector and gave a talk on Ukraine's postal history at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum in Washington D.C. in October 2010.
