First Outline, Summary, and Working Bibliography of Research Paper

Summary

This paper will examine video art collaborations and will seek to determine the reason behind collaborations in video art. Video art sparked an interest in collaboration between artists in the 1960's and the idea of partnerships in art. The focus will be on art duos, but may expand to collaborations of more than two artists.
A history of video art will be explained, as well as numerous examples of collaborating artists.
Video artists collaborate for different reasons, and an attempt will be made to determine the cause of these partnerships and draw a relationship between these causes.

  1. Looks like you are really on the right track. You also might want to think about how collaborations of 2-3 people (video art) are different from collaborations of 50-500 people in theatre and film.
